Daily-injection GLP-1 (Saxenda, Victoza). Older than semaglutide, weaker, less popular.
Liraglutide is a daily-injection GLP-1 receptor agonist. Branded as Saxenda for weight loss and Victoza for diabetes. Most patients moved to once-weekly semaglutide or tirzepatide. Still useful for patients who titrate slowly or can't tolerate weekly dosing.
